Bite Beauty’s Cashmere Lip Cream in Rioja
After falling in love with Bite Beauty’s High Pigment Pencils, I decided I would try one of their cashmere lip creams, and bought it for $39.95 from Style Patisserie.
Where Topshop’s lip cream felt heavy and thick like a cream, this lip cream feels light and comfortable. It, like the high pigment pencils, smells fruity, and is completely edible, just in case you’re stranded on a deserted island with no food and have to resort to eating your lipstick.
The applicator, instead of being at an angle like other lip wands, is completely straight, and is also flexible. This makes application pretty easy, and is a great feature. Unlike many other liquid lipsticks, it doesn’t dry upon application, and it keeps your lips hydrated. It wears well for hours, and does leave a stain, particularly as it’s a deep red.
These are quite pricey, and I own so many liquid lipsticks at this point that I’m not in a rush to buy a second shade of this. I do like the formula, however, and Bite Beauty is a brand I’ll certainly be keeping my eye on.#review #swatches #lips #liquid lipstick #bite beauty #makeup
