Brand Spotlight: Picture Polish

Picture Polish is an independent Australian polish brand known for its unique shades and its collaborations with bloggers. Prices generally range from $10 - $14AUD.

They have plain shades in a variety of colours, from bright to pale to dark, as well as top coats that are both plain and flakie. Their standout shades are their duochromes and glitters, and the best shades (in my opinion) are the ones that fall into both categories.

Gravity and Aurora are two new limited edition shades that are gorgeous - Gravity is a purple/blue duochrome with multicoloured glitter that’s reminiscent of galaxies, and Aurora is a green/purple duochrome that reminds you of Aurora Borealis (“At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localised entirely within your kitchen?”).

Wisteria is a great purple, but the photo is mostly there to show you what it looks like compared to Mirage - in the photo of Mirage on my nails, I’ve layered it on top of Wisteria, to bring out the purple in it. It looks stunning!

They collaborate with bloggers each year to release exciting new shades, which isn’t something I’ve heard of other brands doing and is such a fun initiative!

I’ve collected a fair few Picture Polish shades over the years, and not once have they let me down. The shades are unlike any I’ve found elsewhere, and the fact that they’re an Australian company just makes me that much happier to support them!

This post isn’t sponsored in any way, I’m just that enthusiastic about an Australian company creating such beautiful nail polishes.
